Formula

The product contains, Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) from 1000 mg of Tonalin® CLA blend from safflower oil. It also contains other ingredients such as gelatin, glycerin, purified water, and caramel in order to form the softgel capsules.

Directions

Take 2 softgels, 3 times daily or as directed by a doctor.

This product is not sold online through its manufacturer but it is available on Amazon for $19.97. The product is also available in pharmacies, drug stores, grocery shops and health food stores across Canada and the US. At the time of writing this review, there were no coupons or any other types of discounts available through the manufacturer’s website.

Possible Side Effects

Gastrointestinal issues are listed as possible side effects. There is also a safety warning which recommends that you should consult a doctor for use beyond 6 months or prior to use if your goal is to achieve weight loss or if you are obese or have cardiovascular disease risk factors such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and/or triglycerides or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You should avoid using this if you have diabetes, metabolic syndrome or insulin resistance.

The Bottom Line

MetaSlim® CLA helps you burn fat and increase lean muscle mass. We liked that there are no stimulants added to the product but it does contain gelatin, glycerin and caramel which might exclude some consumers. We also did not like that it could also cause Gastrointestinal issues and that it does not come with a money back guarantee. We also did not see any consumer reviews to give us some insight as to whether or not this product really works. We thought that this was a shame.
